Pantheon is supported by B.P. Marsh & Partners PLC (‘’B.P. Marsh’’) the Specialist Private Equity Investor in early stage financial services businesses. Since the formation of B.P. Marsh, over 30 years ago, the Company has a management team with considerable experience both in the financial services sector and in managing private equity investments.

In June 2023, B.P. Marsh subscribed for a 25% stake in Pantheon Specialty Group Limited (“Pantheon Group”) a holding company established in partnership with Robert Dowman. Pantheon Group acquired 100% of the share capital of the established Lloyd’s broker, Denison and Partners Ltd (now renamed Pantheon Speciality Limited ‘’Pantheon’’) , in which B.P. Marsh previously owned a 40% stake.

Robert Dowman, Pantheon CEO, has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, as a leading London Market Casualty broker, specialising in the larger more complex liability placements across the world, whether that be on a facultative or programme basis. Robert is supported by Michael Lee as Pantheon Managing Director, who has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry in the Casualty market. With the support of B.P. Marsh, Robert, Michael and the Pantheon Team are looking to build a market leading independent specialist broker, across multiple markets, utilising the corporate expertise and detailed market knowledge of B.P. Marsh.

The Denison and Partners Team, remains as a trading Division of Pantheon, specialising in delegated authority business under the continuing leadership of Alasdair Ritchie.
